The Constitution of Christian Youth Foundation (CYF)
I. NAME/NATURE
The organization shall be known and
called Christian Youth Foundation (CYF). It shall be a Non-Governmental
and Non-Profitable Organization with headquarters in Kaduna Nigeria. It
is certified by the Kaduna state government of Nigeria with
registration No KDS/YC/C9/6017.
.Motto: We are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14 ).
II. GOAL
The goal of this organization is to help
youth in the City of Kaduna to succeed in life through taking preventive
measures against social, economic and Spiritual factors that could
milted against them to the glory of God.
III. OBJECTIVES
Social Life
1. Talks in school and youth meetings on prevention of drug abuse.
2. Talks on Love, Dating and choosing a godly life Partner.
3. Talks against immorality and abortion among youths.
4. Talks on development of a good Parent -child Relationship.
5. Talks on Loving your neighbor as yourself for the sake of peace.
6. Collaborating with other sister organizations in these areas.
Success in Life
1. Presentations on scriptural based success principles.
2. Sharing of Stories of Success.
3. Motivational talks and skills acquisition

5. All these are particularly done through our website, blog, email and e-books
Spiritual Life
1. We offer a one week Bible certificate course that awards a Bible at the end.
2. We direct youths to other agencies that offer Bible Course e.g. Church planting International.
3. We assign Mentors that disciple youth.
4. Collaborating with other sister organizations in these areas.
5. All these are particularly done through our website, blog, email and e-books
Educational Life
1. Fishing out and sponsoring less privilege youth.
2. Encouraging the pursuance of Education
3. Encouraging reading habit among youth
4. Discouraging Examination malpractice among youth
5. Collaborating with other sister organizations in these areas.

IV. BOARD OF TRUSTEES
This board shall be in charge of making policies for the leadership of CYF to implement

Note: The chairman and the secretary
shall be the signatories to the account of CYF. The secretary shall be
the leader in the absence of the Chairman.
V. MANAGERIAL LEADERSHIP/RESPONSIBILITY
There shall be five posts of leadership. They shall be in charge of managing the foundation.

officer: Shall serve as the general manager of the organization. If he
is not the chairman he shall serve under the chairman.

He shall be the scribe as well as the
public relations office (PRO) of CYF. He shall keep records, create and
maintain a good image and awareness for CYF. If he is not the secretary
he shall serve under the secretary of the board and shall also assist
the Managing Office.

He shall deputize and assists the secretary in his duties

He shall be in charge of keeping financial records as well as ensure the safety of CYF finances.
VI. APPOINTMENTS
All posts shall be by appointment by the
board of trustees, each post shall run for 3 years. An individual can
hold a post for several tenures.
VII. REVIEW
This constitution can only be review
after every three years. It shall be reviewed by a joint meeting of the
trustees and the Managerial leadership. This shall also be done by the
vote of a simple Two-third majority.
VIII. COOPERATION WITH SISTER ORGANIZATION
CYF shall cooperative with other sister
Non-profitable and Non-Governmental organizations. This shall be done generally but particularly after a memorandum of understanding is drawn.
IX. LIQUIDATION
The organization shall be liquidated by
the decision of the board and the approval of Chairman/CEO but in his
absence the deputy CEO. All properties and assets of CYF shall be
transferred to any suitable sister organization that share a similar
vision with CYF
